The consulate is an honorary consulate and covers the districts of Cholburi, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat provinces. The consulate is operated jointly with the Royal Danish Consulate which cover the same provinces.

 

The consulate provides general consular services with the exception of Schengen Visa applications which only can be submitted at the Embassy in Bangkok. We regret to inform that application for ordinary Norwegian passport likewise also only can be done at the Bangkok Embassy after 15 February 2010. However that the consulate is still able to make child passports for children below the age of 12.

 

The consulate opening hours are as follows;

 

Monday & Tuesday        09.00-11.30 & 14.00-17.00
Friday                           09.00-11.30
Wednesday & Thursday closed.

Please allow for two working days to issue certificates or legalization. Kindly also insure that you prepare all required and up to date information before requesting certificates to be issued by the consulate.

 
The consulate operates a queuing system and you are kindly requested to take a Que ticket on arrival at the Chancery to ensure smooth processing of your request. The Que system has 4 lanes;
 
  1. Collection of already prepared documents – please bring your receipt. This queue covers both Norwegian and Danish services but ONLY for collection based on receipt for already submitted documents.
  2. Danish Consular inquiries and request for certificates, marriage applications, driving license, passports etc.

  3. Norwegian Consular inquiries and request for certificates, marriage applications, child passports etc.

  4. Casting of votes in National and regional elections where consulate can accept advance voting.

 

We kindly ask for your cooperation not parking your cars or motorbikes in front of the consulate in the subsoi.
